We met inside the mental health system. Both severely unwell. Both sectioned. We are now at the helm of the company we built around it.

Founder, Chief Executive
Tom Sanders

Diagnosed disabled as a child. Failed by the education system. Full-time work from age fifteen. Headhunted into private-jet sales at eighteen. Top-grossing global salesman in his industry in 2019. Organised crisis response inside the NHS during COVID. Worked at a high level inside Broadmoor. Built and piloted the Band 5 lived-experience severe-psych service at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. More than a year of his adult life behind psychiatric doors. Built Elysium because no one had built it for him.

Chairman
Kerl Haslam

Former Head of Visionary Planning and Innovation at Orange. Architect of the world's first universal payment platform. Exited 2005. Joined The Threshold Collective as Chairman after meeting Tom inside the mental health system. Senior voice on partnerships, governance, and board-level strategy.

Founder and Chairman travelled to Doha in 2026 for early-stage strategic conversations on a regional mental-health partnership. Current status: warm.

Frontier research partnership with C+ Soft, a Pakistan-based engineering lab, on agentic orchestration and applied AI at the edge. Through the Tech Collective.
